Using segments of his popular "Comedy Magic Show" magician Dave Elstun delivers a fun, exciting presentation with a message. With lessons learned from biographies and his own life experience Dave illustrates how he has managed his own career and built success in other organizations. Dave shares stories of famous personalities and the character traits that made them great. Harry Houdini is widely regarded as the greatest magician of all time. The fact that we still know his name 90 years after his death is a testament to his staying power as a legend in the entertainment industry. But he didn't start that way! In fact it took Houdini almost 10 years to transform himself from the struggling son of a Jewish immigrant into the first true superstar in entertainment. He had a unique ability to view things in a different way, to think outside the box is the term we would use today. Walt Disney was only a moderately talented artist, he didn't invent animation or write memorable music. He was however a great story teller, he recognized and knew how to use talent in others and he embraced new technology. The Disney method is still used as a management model of getting the most from those you work with. “Turning Lead into Gold” is a truly magical experience! Who is Dave Elstun? Dave Elstun is an exceptional showman and entertainer with real experience in the business world. As the owner and operator of Zeezo's Magic Castle in The Buckingham Square Shopping Center Dave also served as the President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Merchants Association. Dave was the Vice President of The Aurora Salesmen With A Purpose club. In 1986 Dave was presented with the prestigious Sales Manager of the Year Award! Today Dave shares his message of learning to use our experiences with audiences everywhere.
