"The Vanishing Coin Caper" You Will Need:
In Your Patter: As a magic detective your job was to locate a stolen coin. A simple job for the magic detective! Prepare In Advance: Place your plastic cup on one of the small paper plates with the open end down (Photo #1). Trace the open end on the plate. Using your scissors cut out the
circle. Glue the paper circle to the open end of the cup
To Perform: Cover the plastic cup with a handkerchief and lift it off the plate (Photo #4 shows what the cup looks like when uncovered). Place a quarter on the plate and then cover with the plastic cup and handkerchief. When you remove the handkerchief it will look as though the coin has vanished. Explain that a bad magician made your friends money disappear. To make the coin come back simply reverse the procedure. Special Notes:

look as though it is an empty cup sitting on a paper plate (Photo #3).
Be sure only to show the uncovered
cup when it is on the plate (Photo #4 shows the uncovered cup).
