The Amazing Dave's birthday party's are easy. Simply choose one of the show packages listed below! For a brief description of options used to build your show simply click on the name of the option or scroll down to the bottom of the page. Presentations for ages 6,7 and 8! #1 The 40 minute "Kids Komedy Show!" #2 One hour of magic and fun combining the "Kids Komedy Show" with a 20 minute Magic Workshop. Children learn three magic tricks with items found around the house. (Please note: an autographed copy of Dave and Connie's book "20 Cheap Tricks" can be included at a special discounted rate.) Presentations for ages 9 and up! #3 The 40 minute "Comedy Magic Show!" Designed for older or more sophisticated children. #4 One hour of magic and fun this option combines the "Comedy Magic Show" with a 20 minute magic workshop. During the Magic Workshop the the birthday child and their guests learn three magic tricks with items found around the house. Designed for older or more sophisticated children. (Please note: an autographed copy of Dave and Connie's book "20 Cheap Tricks" can be included at a special discounted rate.) Presentations for children age 5! #5 The 30 minute "Kids Komedy Show!" A slightly shorter show for younger attention spans. The "Amazing Dave Elstun" brings 30 years experience working with children to every show!
In addition to the tricks described in the introduction Dave concludes this special birthday party show with a slapstick balloon routine. The guest of honor then receives the balloon as a special birthday gift! For children 5 years old, routines are shortened for younger attention spans. For children 9 years and older Dave drops the balloon routine and performs his comedy straitjacket Escape. This hysterical routine was featured on the TV series "Diagnosis Murder" with Dick Van Dyke! Dave's workshop features three easy to learn magic tricks from their book "20 Cheap Tricks." These magic tricks are easy to do and may be made with materials commonly found around the house. Dave works at the annual Snowmass @ Aspen "Snowmagical Festival" The Amazing Dave has performed at hundreds of birthday parties and in many other family venues. Dave toured elementary schools with the AAA Auto club for 6 seasons, appearing before 200,000 children per year! Dave was the house magician at Casa Bonita for 8 years. He spent 5 years working at Six Flags Elitch Gardens. Dave has worked at the Aurora Kidspree for the last 5 years, at The Downtown Denver International Buskerfest for 9years and with the Colorado Performing Arts Festival for 9 years!

Dave Elstun" walks in the door! Ready to go when he arrives Dave
immediately launches into a rollicking good time filled with comedy
and magic.
Dave's interactive style involves the children
throughout the show. Coins appear from nowhere, CD's change colors, ropes
change length and rings link together (in the hands of The Amazing Dave this is
a masterpiece). When they see colorful Pom Poms suspended from a pole the
audience says "Ooh!
Aaah! how does he do it?"
Your child is
the focus of attention on their special day! Several
times during the show Dave
involves the birthday boy or girl by
making them a part of the show.
